We are glad to announce the release of a new free version of Cryptic Disk with TrueCrypt support.
Since the TrueCrypt project was closed, users of this program had to look for alternatives. We decided to offer a free version of Cryptic Disk supporting TrueCrypt encrypted containers. From now on, users don’t need to create new containers in the Cryptic Disk format – they can simply connect a TrueCrypt container and use it as they would in TrueCrypt. Of course, some useful features of Cryptic Disk are not compatible with the TrueCrypt container format, and are only available for Cryptic Disk containers.
Cryptic Disk Free has all the features of the previous version of Cryptic Disk 3 Home Edition. Plus, we’ve added script support and simplified the interface of the free version.
Besides, we have discontinued Cryptic Disk 3 Ultimate Edition. All the features of this edition are now available in the paid Cryptic Disk 4 Professional version. Support of encrypted physical disks of the TrueCrypt format is available in Cryptic Disk Professional only.
